Mobility bathroom installation, fast and fitted with care

We install walk-in showers, walk-in baths and wet rooms in homes across the UK. Most installations take 3-5 days, and we’ll tell you how long yours will take before any work starts.

You’ll have one installation manager from planning through to the last day of fitting. Our fitters take out your old bathroom, do the plumbing, electrics, flooring and wall panels, and clean up before they leave. We’re members of the Federation of Master Builders and the British Institute for Fitted Interiors Specialists, and every installation comes with a 2-year workmanship warranty.

To get started, book a free home visit. One of our advisors will come and look at your bathroom, talk through what you need and give you a clear quote. There’s no pressure to decide on the day.

How long does a mobility bathroom installation take?

Most of our installations take between 3 and 5 days. How long yours takes depends on what’s being fitted and how much needs to change in the room.

What we’re fitting Typical time on site
Walk-in shower 5 days
Walk-in bath 3 days
Wet room 7-10 days
Full bathroom refit 5-7 days

Some jobs take a little longer. This might be because pipes need moving, the floor needs levelling or a doorway needs widening. If that’s the case, we’ll find out at the technical survey and tell you before the work is booked in, so there are no surprises on the day.

While we’re working, we will never leave you overnight without a connected toilet. If you only have one bathroom, let our team know and we will be able to make the best arrangements for you.

How we work, from first visit to follow-up call

We know having your bathroom replaced can feel like a big job, especially if you rely on it every day. Here’s what happens at each stage and who you’ll be dealing with.

Step 1: A free home visit

One of our advisors will visit you at home at a time that suits you. The visit usually lasts about 90 minutes.

Your advisor will:

  • Measure the room and check the plumbing, electrics and layout
  • Ask how you use your bathroom and what you find difficult at the moment
  • Suggest layouts and features that suit your home and routine
  • Create a 3D Cad design of what your bathroom will look like
  • Be able to show you a range of samples
  • Give you a clear quote, with no pressure to decide on the day

If a family member, friend or carer would like to be there too, you’re very welcome to have them with you.

Step 2: Planning every detail

Once you decide to go ahead, we’ll introduce you to your installation manager. From then on, they’re your main point of contact.

They will:

  • Arrange a technical survey, usually within 7 days, to confirm every measurement and check everything is ready
  • Give you a clear timeline, including your fitting date
  • Keep you up to date and answer any questions along the way

Most customers have their bathroom fitted around 6 weeks after ordering.

Step 3: Fitting your bathroom

Our team will arrive on time, cover your floors and furniture, and look after your home while they work.

During installation, we will:

  • Remove your old bathroom
  • Carry out all the plumbing, electrics and fitting to the agreed design
  • Lay the flooring and fit the wall panels and accessories
  • Tidy up at the end of each day
  • Tell you how the work is going at the end of each day

Step 4: Handing over your new bathroom

When the work is finished, we go through a final checklist to make sure everything works as it should.

We then:

  • Clean the room thoroughly
  • Take away all the waste and your old fittings
  • Show you how everything works, from the shower controls to any seats or rails
  • Make sure you’re comfortable using it before we leave

Step 5: A follow-up call

A few days after we finish, we’ll call you to check everything is working well and answer any questions you have.

Let’s explore what’s possible

Who will be fitting your bathroom

Your bathroom will be fitted by a team of approved installers. All of our fitters are DBS checked and the same team will stay with your job from start to finish.

Between them, our fitters cover every trade a mobility bathroom needs, so you won’t have to arrange a separate plumber, electrician or tiler. This includes:

  • Plumbing – Full compliance and Public Liability Insurance
  • Electrics – City and Guilds Complaint
  • Slip-resistant flooring
  • Wall panels, which are waterproof sheets fitted instead of tiles and are easier to keep clean
  • Grab rails, seats and other accessories

Your installation manager organises everyone, so you only ever need to speak to one person. If anything unexpected comes up during the work, they’ll explain it to you straight away and agree the next step with you before anything changes.

What we install

Walk-in showers. A level or low step entry shower that you can walk or wheel into. They can include a fold-down seat, grab rails and easy-grip controls. See our walk-in showers.

Walk-in baths. A bath with a watertight door, so you can step in and sit down without climbing over the side. See our walk-in baths.

Wet rooms. The whole floor is waterproofed and slopes gently to a drain, so there’s no shower tray or step at all. Wet rooms are often chosen by wheelchair users. See our wet rooms.

Extras. Heated towel rails, shower seats, grab rails and other accessories can be added to any bathroom. See our optional extras.

Our warranty

We use quality products and our fitters are experienced, so we expect your bathroom to last. If something does go wrong, we’ll put it right.

All of our work is covered by a labour warranty for the first 2 years. Products are guaranteed for between 3 and 15 years, depending on the product. After the first 2 years, parts may still be covered, and we’ll give you a clear quote for any work that’s needed. Read more about our warranties.
