General questions about bathrooms, fitting and MobilityPlus
1210mm x 650mm. It shares that footprint with the Hampton Elite, and it is the narrowest bath in the compact range, so it works where floor space is tight. Left and right-hand configurations are available to suit your existing plumbing. Measure your available wall length before ordering.
The Hampton is a low-level bath with a higher seat position, which shortens the distance you have to lower yourself and stand back up again. It is the most straightforward, practical option in the compact range rather than the most feature-heavy. The Elite version adds spa features on the same footprint.
The seat is integrated into the bath and shaped with a contoured back, so you are supported rather than sitting upright against a flat wall. Because the seat is moulded as part of the bath there is nothing to fit, adjust or remove before you bathe.
Through a dual waste, which empties the bath faster than a single waste would. That shortens the wait between finishing your bath and being able to open the door and step out, which is the part most people find frustrating on a walk-in bath.
Yes. The door uses watertight seals and, as with any walk-in bath, the seal only performs properly if the bath is fitted correctly and sits level. Mobility Plus install every bath themselves rather than leaving the fitting to a third party. The seals are covered by the product warranty.
Yes. A hydrotherapy spa option and chromotherapy lighting are both available as optional extras on the Hampton. If you want both included as standard rather than added as options, the Hampton Elite is built on the same footprint with those features already fitted. Either way, specify it at the quote stage.
Anti-slip flooring inside the bath, a contoured backrest for support while seated, a thermostatic filler so the water temperature is set before filling starts, and watertight door seals. These are included rather than charged as extras. Left and right-hand versions are available, so the door opens on the side you find easier to approach.
